Our team is committed to providing you with outstanding professional care. Our goal is to equip our patients with a healthy, beautiful smile. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient.
Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in providing patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the latest technology advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.
SHELLY
OFFICE
Originally born in Canada, Shelly has lived in the US for over 30 years and in Folsom for over 20. She has been married for over 24 years and has two wonderful children; Kelsey, who has graduated from Loyola Marymount University, and Tucker, who will graduate from Folsom High School in 2018 and loves football. Shelly is a registered dental assistant but has been able to offer support in the front office for several years. When not working, she loves boating, traveling, and working in the yard.
KELSEY
OFFICE
Kelsey was born and raised in Folsom, CA. She graduated from St. Francis High School in 2011, she then attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, earning her degree in Biology May of 2015. Kelsey is currently working towards graduate school with the hope of entering the medical field.
When Kelsey was young she was a patient of Dr. Dunbar. She started working for him during her college summer breaks. She now works full time in the office as a treatment coordinator and office manager. She loves the fun atmosphere of Dr. Dunbar’s office, and how patients are treated like family.
When not at the office Kelsey enjoys hiking, being outdoors, going to concerts, reading, cooking, and baking.
BROOKE
R.D.A.
Brooke was born and raised in Folsom, CA. She graduated from Folsom High School in 2004, going on to attended Central Sierra’s ROP program for dental assisting in Aug. of 2005 and graduating in May of 2006. She received her RDA license in 2007, and started working for Dr. Dunbar in February of 2007. Her interest in orthodontics began when going through Orthodontic treatment as a child with Dr. Dunbar. Brooke always knew Dr. Dunbar would be a great and fun person to work for, and is thrilled to have had the pleasure of working for him for ten years. Brooke loves to travel and to spend time outdoors, and also enjoys baking and decorating cakes in her spare time.
HEATHER
R.D.A.
Heather was born and raised in Folsom. She graduated from Folsom High School in 2007. Heather initially spent a few years pursuing a career in in psychology before switching careers, and being accepted into the Dental Assisting Program at Sacramento City College. After interning for Dr. Dunbar she knew that orthodontics was the perfect fit! In her spare time she loves camping with her German Shepherd Sequoia, cheering on the San Francisco Giants, and working with the animals at her parent’s ranch.
COURTNEY
R.D.A.
Courtney was born and raised in San Jose, CA and spent some time in Placerville before arriving in Pollock Pines. Courtney went to dental assisting school at Sac City College and received her RDA in 2003. She started working for Dr. Dunbar in August of 2003 and finds immense enjoyment in her job and the people she works with. She and her husband of 8 years, Scott, were blessed with beautiful twin girls in 2008 named Madison and Cassidy. Courtney’s favorite hobbies involve spending time with her wonderful family boating and camping at Sly Park.
