FINANCIAL INFORMATION
Orthodontic treatment is an excellent investment in an individual’s health and well-being. We believe financial considerations should not be an obstacle to obtaining this important health benefit. Our office is dedicated to your health and will make every effort to make orthodontics affordable. Being sensitive to the fact that different people have different needs, we offer a variety of payment options.
TRADITIONAL INITIAL PAYMENT PLAN
A down payment at the start of treatment (usually 20-30% but could be less in certain cases) with the balance paid in monthly payments over 12 or 15 months. There are no interest charges with this option. Monthly payments can be set-up on an automatic basis via credit card, Health Savings/Flex Spending accounts, or through a checking/savings account.
FULL PAYMENT DISCOUNT
A discount of 5% is given for payment in full by cash or check at the beginning of treatment. A discount of 5% is automatically given as a courtesy of your continued loyalty and confidence in Dr. Dunbar’s capability of providing excellent orthodontic care when immediate family members begin full treatment in our office and for our patients transitioning from Phase I to Phase II treatment.
CUSTOMIZED PLAN
We are dedicated to finding a way to help all of our patients receive the care that they need. If none of the above options work for you, please contact our financial coordinator or patient treatment coordinator to see if we can work out an individual plan suited to your needs.
INSURANCE
We will be happy to assist you in determining whether your insurance company will cover your orthodontic treatment, and the amount covered by your benefits. If your company does provide benefits, we will be happy to take care of the insurance paperwork and file your claim for you. Due to the fact that insurance policies vary greatly we can only estimate your coverage in good faith, but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Please provide our office with your insurance information either prior to or at your first visit. If you have any questions regarding insurance, please contact our financial coordinator or patient treatment coordinator.
Please remember that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If, during the course of treatment your benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges.
